Aussie Home Loans will take a leading role in developing the knowledge base of a female broker workforce.
Yesterday the brokerage became the principal sponsor for the Women in Mortgage Business Network.
"The Women in Mortgage Business Network provides significant opportunities for professional
development," Aussie executive director James Symond said.
"Aussie is proud to be associated with this important initiative as we believe women are a powerful and successful force within the mortgage broking industry.”
In an industry largely dominated by men, Mr Symond said it was vital for women brokers to be able to enhance their skill set, be mentored and mentor others, while sharing ideas in a fun environment.
“It’s no secret women deliver high quality customer service and Aussie would love to have an even stronger presence of women in our network. We believe initiatives such as this make the industry more attractive to women,” he said.
