The US mortgage market has showed signs of improvement, data from the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) showed overnight.
The association’s Market Composite Index, which measures mortgage loan application volumes, reached 557.1 (seasonally adjusted) in the week ending 6 June.
This was up from 502.3 the week before and represented a surprising rise of 10.9 per cent.
