After formally re-entering the broker channel in July this year, Macquarie bank is now stepping up its broker support by expanding its BDM team.

The bank’s executive director Frank Ganis said Macquarie was committed to improving its broker service proposition.

Earlier this week, Macquarie appointed a new Western Australia-based BDM, Marilyn Pratt.

Ms Pratt worked as a BDM for the bank in 2008 – before Macquarie was forced to scale back its mortgage operations.

Mr Ganis welcomed Ms Pratt back and commented on the important role she will play in ensuring mortgage brokers in Western Australia receive the highest level of service from Macquarie.

“We are delighted to have Marilyn back on board at Macquarie. Bringing the right people into our BDM team is a critical element of our service proposition to brokers,” Mr Ganis said.
