Brokerage launches insurance quote function

The major brokerage has integrated an indicative quote function within its broker platform that offers a digital Allianz quote to its clients.

Mortgage Choice has announced the launch and integration of an indicative home and landlord’s insurance quote function within its broker platform.

The major brokerage’s brokers will be able to offer a digital Allianz quote to their customers via the broker platform without needing to refer the customer to Allianz.

The broker platform is integrated with the brokerage’s CRM, file manager workflow management system, and the MyHub online customer portal.

Commenting on the function, Susan Mitchell, CEO of Mortgage Choice said the launch “further builds on our journey to digitise the customer journey”.

“We’re thrilled to be able to offer this new functionality to our brokers and provide more opportunities for them to grow their businesses,” Ms Mitchell said.

“This functionality not only saves our broker time, it gives them greater control over the sales process and deepens their relationship with their customers.”

She added that clients can self-serve, request a call back, complete the quote, and pay online at a time that suits them.

According to Ms Mitchell, insurance products, such as those offered by Allianz, provide avenues for additional revenue streams for brokers, and enhance their future earning potential.

“At Mortgage Choice, we have always encouraged our brokers to embrace diversification within their businesses to provide more solutions for their customers,” she said.

“A diversified offering creates stickier customers by demonstrating that we can support them beyond their residential lending needs and builds robust businesses by creating less reliance on one income stream.”

The indicative quotes function became available to clients from September.
