The bank has announced that, as of 2 February 2018, its head of marketing and sales, Glenn Gibson, is no longer with the company.
Mr Gibson had been at the bank for eight years and was the national sales manager for third-party distribution before his tenure as the head of marketing and sales.
An AMP spokesperson thanked Mr Gibson for his contribution to the business and noted his efforts to develop the lender’s broker channel.
“Glenn has made a significant contribution to AMP Bank’s business over his tenure, growing sales via brokers above the market average year-on-year,” the spokesperson said.
“He has helped build a great team and a platform for the next stage of AMP Bank’s growth.
“Glenn is a passionate supporter of broking in Australia representing AMP Bank on a number of industry bodies and contributing significantly to the issues, debate and challenges that the industry faces.”
The bank has also said that it will announce Mr Gibson’s replacement as lead for sales distribution in the coming months.
