According to the bank’s head of business and private banking Mark Reid, Bankwest wants to strengthen its ties with business brokers by launching a dedicated website and a broker strategy.
Aaron Milburn, head of retail broker sales, will support Mr Reid and work within Bankwest business to build a broker strategy for the bank.
Mr Reid told The Adviser that the new initiative is designed to support the overall direction of Bankwest in the broker channel in line with the new business strategic focus.
"This initiative is a step in the right direction for Bankwest business,” he said.
