Loan Market Group is stepping up its recruitment drive, launching a series of information nights on how to become a mortgage broker.
The information nights are open to everyone and are targeted at people who are looking to start their own business.
The company’s head of new broker recruitment Chris Dobbie said the program will detail the qualifications and skills needed to become an accredited mortgage broker.
“These qualifications include Certificate IV Financial Service/Mortgage Broking, Industry associations, compliance, cross selling, building relationships with referral partners and cross sell opportunities,” Mr Dobbie said.
“Our presenters will outline what an average day for a mortgage broker is like and how the commission structures work, the software we use and details about our marketing.
“We will also provide a transparent overview of Loan Market and broking as an industry.”
