Digital marketing guru to share broker success story

A leading digital marketing expert will reveal how she worked with one broker to achieve significant lead generation goals at this year’s Digital Marketing Boot Camp.

Beth Powell created the first digital marketing and social media training programs for the Australian Marketing Institute almost ten years ago, and has extensive experience working with banks and, more recently, brokers.

Ahead of her appearance at the 2016 Digital Marketing Boot Camp, Ms Powell told The Adviser that she has been working with one broker with great success.

“This particular broker works with a small team of support staff. I took her on as a client and really started from zero to having quite a significant impact. I want to tell the brokers attending this year’s Digital Marketing Boot Camp about what we did for her and the results that we got,” she said.

“For the campaign that we were running, we had a single goal in mind that we were working towards. We met that goal and now it’s on to setting the next one.”

The digital marketing campaign followed the mortgage broker’s decision to host an event in partnership with a real estate research company.

“She wanted to get as many people as possible to the event so that she could introduce herself to them and talk to them about her particular service and gather their data,” Ms Powell explained.

“So she was using the event to nurture leads but also to generate leads. When she came to me, she had booked the event but had no idea how she would achieve the rest of it,” she said.

With Ms Powell’s help, the broker was able to achieve significant leads through a combined email and social media campaign.
