Stargate upgrades broker platform

Staff Reporter 1 minute read

Stargate has announced it will partner with Microsoft to deliver an updated business technology platform to its 2,000 mortgage brokers.

The IT provider’s chief executive officer Brett Spencer said the new platform had been developed specifically with the broking industry in mind, as the new software will help users streamline their business.

The Software is said to provide a smooth integration into other Microsoft products such as Outlook and Office, enhance brokers’ reporting functionality, business intelligence and connectivity options and provide access to the new E-PASS Partner Application Store.

E-PASS will provide its users with greater platform flexibility and allow them to select from a range of industry participants to provide additional services including Insurance and Financial Planning, electronic lodgement through NextGen and property reports through RPData.

“This is the first major system-wide re-development since the creation of Symmetry in 2001 and with an investment of over $1.5 million dollars, this upgrade into the latest technologies will enable Stargate to continue to provide award winning software and serve our customers for the next 10 years,” Mr Spencer said.
