Aggregator offers new avenue for broker diversification

Emma Ryan 5 minute read

Mortgage aggregation group eChoice has become the latest aggregator to join Allianz’s referral program.

The program provides a diversified income stream to brokers by offering a model for them to refer their customers to Allianz for their home, landlord and motor insurance needs.

“We are continually exploring additional income opportunities for our brokers, providing they add true value to the broker/client relationship, and the Allianz referral program does that simply and effectively,” eChoice’s general manager of products and services, Kon Shizas, said.

Allianz said it is thrilled to be partnering with a growing organisation that shares its values, describing eChoice as a "well-known and respected brand in the market".

“We’re looking forward to working closely with eChoice to help their brokers diversify their businesses, as well as provide ongoing, trusted protection for their customers,” Dan Tully, Allianz's national manager of growth markets, said.

Since its inception in 2012, a total of 14 aggregation groups have now joined Allianz’s referral program.

A recent survey conducted at the MFAA Convention in May found that a quick and easy referral process was cited as the number one reason for using Allianz’s referral program.

“It’s this feedback that we’re excited about, and which we’re pleased to now be able to offer eChoice,” Mr Tully added.
