New mortgage franchise continues expanding

by Staff Reporter10 minute read

Nectar Mortgages has expanded into Western Australia and will soon be represented in six states and territories.

Lee Middleton has been appointed regional manager for Western Australia. She is an MFAA-certified mentor who was former principal of MAD Mortgage & Finance.

"As someone who has built a business on personalised customer service, I'm impressed by the focus Nectar place on this, and the smart tools and world-class CRM system they've developed to look after clients for the life of their mortgages," Ms Middleton said.

"With Nectar's support systems and my own experience in broker training, this is a huge opportunity for both experienced brokers and new entrants to the industry to grow their skills and experience on the job."

Nectar chief executive Paul Newell said Ms Middleton is Nectar's fifth regional manager.

"Lee has specialised in bringing brokers on to her team and helping them build their businesses through training, mentoring and referral partnerships," Mr Newell said.

Nectar's strategy is for each regional franchise to use its Aro Software platform to connect with multiple independent real estate offices.

The group's first regional franchise, in Adelaide, started trading in March 2014.

Mr Newell said Nectar is also represented in New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia.

New regional managers will be appointed to Victoria/Tasmania and the Northern Territory in two months, he added.
