Adelaide Bank has appointed its eighth BDM and revealed that more may be needed to cater for continuing growth.

Senior manager of broker distribution Fons Caminiti announced that Adelaide Bank had appointed Philippa Bernacki to the role of BDM for Western Australia.

“Philippa will service her Western Australian brokers and partners with distinction and has more than 12 years’ experience in the banking and finance industry including as a mobile lender and a brokerage franchise manager,” he said.

Adelaide Bank also has three BDMs in South Australia, two in NSW, and one each in Victoria and Queensland, Mr Caminiti told The Adviser.

"With the growth that we are currently experiencing at Adelaide Bank and the overall growth of the broker market now comprising 50 per cent of all residential loans written, serious evaluation and consideration is being given to expanding the BDM team nationally in the not-too-distant future,” he said.
