AMP selects AFG for aggregation

Staff Reporter 1 minute read

AFG will become the mortgage aggregator for AMP Financial Planning’s (AMPFP) network of accredited mortgage consultants and financial planners.

According to AMPFP, the aggregator will provide administration, technology systems software, education, training, communications and marketing support.

AMPFP’s head of product Brad Barr said after extensive consultation with its members, the company decided AFG represented the best strategic alliance.

“Throughout the review process, AFG demonstrated they had the capability, capacity and desire to grow the lending services proposition with AMP Financial Planning and our accredited mortgage consultants,” Mr Barr said.

“Our planners and accredited mortgage consultants will have an increased level of support in the lending area, including access to a broader range of lenders and types of loans.”

The companies will start a three-year long agreement in December.
