Economic uncertainty weighed on business lending in April according to data released by the ABS yesterday.
Commercial finance fell a disappointing 12.9 per cent, seasonally adjusted, to $27.066 billion, following a 23 per cent rise in March.
In addition lease finance fell 8.4 per cent to $422 million.
Consumers also remain cautious about taking on personal debt with personal finance rising by just 0.2 per cent.
