Non-banks awarded for variable rate products

Non-bank lenders have featured strongly in Cannex’ top ranking for variable rate home loans.

Mortgage House and Mortgage Ezy were two of the non-banks to receive a five star rating from Cannex in its Mortgage Star Ratings report, released on Friday.

Mortgage House received a five star rating for its Pure Basic loan, which offers a rate of 4.95 per cent. Mortgage Ezy was awarded a rating for its discount variable of 4.99 per cent.

Yes Home Loans and MyRate also featured in the top ratings list.

Of the banks, ANZ dominated the list with four of its variable rate products awarded five stars.

NAB and St George received two five star ratings while CBA and Westpac each received one.
