Police and Nurses Credit Society yesterday posted a $19.2 million net profit for the 2007/08 financial year.
The results were 2.5 per cent down on the 2006/07 financial year.
Fred Huis, Police and Nurses CEO, said the result was strong considering the impact of the US sub-prime crisis.
“We’ve still recorded a satisfactory profit and growth across all areas of the business,” he said; total loans under management rose 12 per cent to over $2 billion.
