At the time of writing, Homeloans’ Classic SMSF loan offered the lowest variable rate at 5.24 per cent, with a comparison rate of 5.42 per cent.
Yellow Brick Road’s SMSF Property Variable loan was the next lowest at 5.33 per cent, with a comparison rate of 5.47 per cent.

Macquarie Bank’s SMSF Property Variable loan was at 5.35 per cent, with a comparison rate of 5.49 per cent.
Bank of Queensland’s Investment Standard Variable SMSF loan was at 5.56 per cent, with a comparison rate of 5.72 per cent.
NAB’s Tailored Variable SMSF loan rounded out the top five at 5.43 per cent, with a comparison rate of 5.74 per cent.
