AFG bolsters partnership manager team with new recruits

The aggregator has strengthened its partnership manager team with the recruitment of two NSW-based staff members.

George Haddad and Krishneil Prasad have joined ASX-listed aggregator Australian Finance Group (AFG) as partnership managers.

Mr Haddad brings experience in growth, strategy, and process efficiency to his new role with AFG.

Prior to his appointment, Mr Haddad was a partnership manager for Loan Market Group, where he managed a portfolio of key brokers, including some of the group’s largest accounts, according to AFG. Mr Haddad’s experience also includes positions with MLC, where he worked on strategic initiatives to drive operational performance.

Mr Prasad carries 14 years of experience working with both major and non-major lenders, along with experience in the third-party channel where he worked closely with brokers over his career.

He previously held roles with Pepper Money and as a business development manager at NAB.

Mr Haddad and Mr Prasad commenced their new roles at the end of October and start of November 2022, respectively.

AFG’s head of broker partnerships NSW, ACT, Victoria and Tasmania, Joseph Khal, said the new appointments solidify the aggregator’s commitment to its members.

“As we continue our rapid growth and recruitment of members, it is vital we build out the team with great individuals who are both experienced and passionate about helping our members,” Mr Khal said.

“AFG’s PM team deliver key support to our brokers in all aspects of their business.

“Our members have grown their businesses and teams at rapid rates and the nurture, support and development of our members is what our team are so passionate about.

“I look forward to seeing the impact both George and Krishneil will have with their members.

These appointments follow AFG’s recruitment of chief financial officer, Luca Pietropiccolo, earlier this year.

Prior to his appointment, Mr Pietropiccolo held senior finance positions at ASX-listed Wesfarmers Limited, where he has extensive experience over a diverse range of the group’s businesses.

The chartered accountant brought more than 17 years of experience stretching across a breadth of finance disciplines such as accounting, mergers and acquisitions, strategy, capital management, and leading the charge in high-performance finance teams in high-growth companies.

AFG chief executive David Bailey said at the time: “He has a successful track record in financial leadership and will bring strong commercial experience to the role.”
