I began my finance career as a casual at a small NAB branch in rural NSW, gaining valuable experience in customer service over 12 months. Seeking broader opportunities, I moved to Shepparton, VIC, and spent 4 to 5 years with ANZ. I started as a Personal Banker, managing everyday customer needs, before transitioning to mortgage lending after two years. At first, I loved the challenge, but it was seeing the real impact I could make in clients' lives that sparked my passion. After a year as a stay-at-home dad, I returned to work as a broker with Aussie Home Loans, where I’ve found the most fulfilling role of my finance career.
