Choice provides tailored support to build your business on your terms

It’s your choice

Choice prides itself on being flexible in its relationships and listening to brokers’ individual needs, an approach that has been embraced by the industry and
recognised in its win of Aggregator of the Year at the 2014 Australian Broking Awards.

By taking the time to truly understand the individual needs of its brokers, Choice works with their members to grow their businesses on their own terms and tailor support to suit their goals.

“Individual choice is at the heart of our business,” says chief executive Stephen Moore. “We spend the time to consult with our brokers one-on-one about what is important to them for business success, and what support they are looking for to optimise their business.

“Brokers can choose to operate under their own brand name, become a part of one of our existing broker groups, or benefit from the strength of our nationally recognised retail brand in Choice Home Loans, depending on their business goals and needs.

“Anecdotal feedback in the market has told us that brokers often feel they aren’t really heard by their aggregator. By building a customised approach for success from the ground up, we can ensure our brokers feel supported and confident to pursue new growth opportunities,” he says.

Collaboration is key

Choice takes a practical approach to business development, encouraging its brokers to learn from the best – each other – through its comprehensive range of peer-to-peer learning sessions.

“We facilitate over 100 small group sessions across the country each year,” says Mr Moore. “These range from quarterly collaborative discussions of each broker’s triumphs, challenges and areas for improvement, to ‘lunch and learn’ sessions on particular topics of interest.” In addition, Choice runs a comprehensive events program with a focus on learning practical skills to grow brokers’ businesses. These range from small specialist workshops designed to assist brokers with strong growth ambitions to larger conferences that provide valuable networking and relationship building opportunities.

Providing the right tools for success

As well as practical support and learning opportunities, Choice brokers receive access to a range of exclusive products and services to help facilitate business success.

Choice’s award-winning software platform, Podium 2.0, is an end-to-end business and client management tool designed specifically for brokers to maximise efficiencies within their business.

“Backed by one of the world’s leading CRM systems, SalesForce, Podium helps brokers identify opportunities within their existing database, while streamlining administrative functions to ensure they are maximising client-facing time,” says Mr Moore.

The Choice team is also known for its expertise with one of the most experienced teams in the market, with more than 25 dedicated partnership managers, practice development specialists and regional managers, each boasting experience of well over 10 years in the industry.

Size and strength mean security As one of Australia’s largest aggregators, Choice provides its brokers with the strength, scale and comprehensive resources needed to ensure they are ideally positioned to take advantage of market growth.

“We believe that Choice provides the best of both worlds in aggregation – the financial strength of a strong balance sheet and ability to invest, combined with the personal and tailored support of a smaller group,” says Mr Moore.

Combined with fair and timely commission payments, and products and support that brokers can rely on, Choice is truly an aggregator that delivers on its promises.
