Advantedge was  named Wholesale Funder of the Year at this year’s Australian Lending Awards, making 2013 the third consecutive year in which Advantedge has taken out the title.

Advantedge continues to provide support to its non-bank lender partners to help maintain and grow their businesses by remaining a proactive voice in the industry and providing a flexibile  platform that enables mortgage managers to tailor products to their own strategies.

“Non-bank lenders are generally smaller players, making them nimble, flexible and often able to provide different solutions from the larger big banks. Given their smaller size, there is endless opportunity to offer customers and brokers a more personalised service,” Mr Halliwell says.

Advantedge’s non-bank lender offering partners security and long-term stability, which is the solution to the biggest challenge facing the sector.

“To ensure non-bank lenders remain a viable alternative, they need to be backed by a stable, long-term funder who can provide the financial security of a major lender, ensuring they are able to keep their rates competitive, Mr Halliwell says.
