The search for Australia’s brightest broker is hotting up with the top six finalists now revealed.
The St.George Banking Group Broker IQ quiz – a joint initiative of St.George and The Adviser – is an industry quiz that aims to identify Australia’s brightest broker.

Round one generated an outstanding response, with an overwhelming number of brokers putting themselves in contention, testing their wits in a race against the clock.
The 50 best brokers then progressed to the second round, which saw them compete against each other in another online quiz, with the final six being derived from there.
Those final six will now compete on stage at the Australian Broking Awards next Friday, 31 July for the chance to win $5,000 cash and be crowned Australia’s brightest broker.
Going head-to-head in this year’s final are Duncan Johnston, Paul Bevan, Jayden Vecchio, Simon Vinnicombe, Victor Foo and Rick Moffitt.
Clive Kirkpatrick, St.George’s general manager of mortgage broking, said that the response to Broker IQ had far exceeded his original expectations.
“This year’s competition has been one of the most challenging and closest we’ve seen. I’m looking forward to seeing our final six compete on the night. Best of luck to all of them!"
