The Commonwealth Bank of Australia has topped the majors in terms of customer satisfaction improvement.

Data from Roy Morgan found that CBA had the biggest improvement in customer satisfaction among the big four in the year to November, recording a 2.1 percentage point increase.

While customer satisfaction stalled largely in November, three of the big four banks’ approval rating rose over the year.

ANZ was the only exception, with the major suffering a 0.6 per cent decline in customer satisfaction during 2009 however it remains the highest rated big bank overall.
