Assetline Capital joins FAST lending panel

FAST brokers will now have access to bridging, long-term horizon mortgages and construction loans from the specialist non-bank lender.

Assetline Capital has been added to the FAST lending panel, following an extensive due diligence process.

Stephen Scahill, Loan Market Group executive, commercial and asset finance, reported the commercial lender is a great fit for FAST.

“The diversity of Assetline’s products and solutions and the speed of its decision-making, further strengthens the service FAST brokers deliver to their clients,” Mr Scahill said.

“Over the last two years, business owners and investors have been looking to expand operations, review their finance structure and diversify their portfolios. The addition of Assetline Capital to FAST’s lender panel creates more opportunities for brokers when servicing their commercial clients.”

According to FAST’s latest Business Lending Index, brokers believe the appetite for commercial property investment lending and refinancing will remain strong.

Just over half of respondents said they expect to write an increased volume of deals in the sector.

Paul Munt, managing director of property lending, Assetline Capital commented that Assetline has become a go-to lender for complex or time-pressured deals.

“With the support of our in-house valuation and credit teams, we assess every deal on its own merits and have developed products to solve problems other lenders can’t,” Mr Munt said.

“Not many lenders can step up with $30 million in bridging finance or are willing to structure construction lending without pre-sales.”

He reported that he has been working to build partnerships with like-minded brokers and groups that value an ability to make sensible business decisions, at speed.

“We have also continued to turn around deals in as little as 48 hours, throughout the challenges of the last two years,” Mr Munt said.

“Our broker partners value that level of responsiveness and transparency, and it gives their clients an advantage in this market.”
