Family time

If I have time, I want to spend it with my family versus an external hobby.

There’s the obvious exercise stuff. We play golf on the odd occasion. But other than that, it’s just family-related stuff, nothing too crazy – going for hikes or walks or just playing with the kids.

Spending time with them while they’re young because they won’t be forever.

Live music

I try to switch off from the laptop and not look at the laptop or look at the phone. I’ve started personal training, which is good – it gives me a bit of an outlet as well. And then, I just try to escape the house, catch up with friends, dinners, and go and see live bands.

I’m a little bit of an ’80s tragic. Love my glam rock. Love Bon Jovi. But I’m into a bit of country music at the moment as well. But just any live music.

I love swimming. I go three times a week for a swim. I take my boys with me.

They also love playing chess. Every evening, they’ll set up a table, and they’ve never won so far, and I challenge them on a daily basis. I love playing chess as well.

I also like riding my motorcycle. When I’m very stressed, I just go for a ride, and it just takes me to a different level.

Take a hike

On the weekends, I go for hikes with some friends – pretty much every weekend, which is amazing. And it’s just nice to be able to be outdoors, instead of stuck in front of a computer screen.
