While many have the ability to burn the candle at both ends, August brings a timely reminder of the importance of getting enough rest during Sleep Health Week 2025.
Running from 11–15 August, the Sleep Health Foundation’s flagship awareness campaign highlights the benefits of healthy sleep across every stage of life. This year’s campaign theme is ‘Sleep: The Lifelong Superpower’.
The campaign explores how quality sleep can boost physical and mental wellbeing, support memory and learning, strengthen immunity, and improve productivity and mood. Throughout the week, brokers can access free webinars, practical resources, and evidence-based tips will be shared to help improve their sleep habits.
Dr Moira Junge, CEO of the Sleep Health Foundation, said the extent of inadequate sleep in Australia meant it was time to dream bigger to improve lives through better rest.
“We are on a mission to expand our reach and make sleep a priority for everyone,” she said. “We’re setting our sights high, aiming to transform the way Australians think about sleep health and that they know where to get support when they’re not experiencing healthy sleep.”
