The commercial issue
This month, The Adviser team has been doing a deep dive into commercial finance broking – with both this edition of the magazine and the accompanying Broker’s Guide – looking closely at the growing number of brokers and lenders operating in this space and the key trends that are driving growing demand for commercial finance.
Our cover story this month unveils the Elite Broker Ranking – Commercial, spotlighting Australia’s leading commercial brokers. From record-breaking commercial mortgage settlements to exceptional cash flow lending achievements, these top performers are setting the standard for excellence across the commercial finance landscape. You can check out who made this year’s ranking, partnered by Assetline, on page 18.
SME finance is also top of mind in our recap of the SME Bootcamp 2025 (page 40), which took place over three states to teach both brokers and accountants all the details in being a successful SME adviser. The event – run with the support of principal partner Maxiron Capital and expertly moderated by SME finance specialists Accendo – left delegates feeling energised and confident in writing more commercial and asset finance.
We’re also showcasing some of the top brokers in this edition and in the accompanying Broker’s Guide to Commercial Finance. Our Elite Broker profile is with asset finance broker Nicole Romero from Loan Market Newcastle CBD this month (page 12). Meanwhile, several leading commercial brokers are providing their insights into the state of commercial finance over in the supplement.
As always, we have a range of other spectacular features in this edition, including why and how brokers are increasingly relying on buyer’s agents. If you’ve not yet started using one, but want the lowdown on what to look for when setting up a referral agreement with a buyer’s agent, check out the feature sponsored by ALBA over on page 30.
On top of all of this, we are also taking a look at the changing finance of private lending, sponsored by Solomons Capital (page 26) and the trends that are being spotted over in green vehicle financing!
I hope you enjoy this edition of The Adviser, and as always, I’d love to hear your thoughts on what you’d like to see in future issues: [email protected].
