Brokers compete in Mader Port to Pub Rotto Swim

The Mortgage Choice Western Australian team recently hosted an exhilarating broker event designed to strengthen professional ties through a unique blend of physical challenge and camaraderie. Moving beyond the traditional boardroom, the Perth team took to the water for an ambitious journey from Leighton Beach to Rottnest Island as part of the MadPort to Pub event.

Participants – including franchise development manager Jacqui Bridger and brokers Shannon Hassett, Ciara Sherry, David McManus, Matthew Jukes, and Riley Capararo – swam and kayaked the 20 kilometres across the iconic channel, pushing their limits in a true test of endurance. By trading suits for swimwear, the Mortgage Choice network transformed a gruelling athletic feat into a powerful networking opportunity. The goal was to connect the local broker community in a high-energy environment that fostered mutual support and collective achievement. The journey to “Rotto” was about more than just distance – it created a memorable, shared experience that reinforced the bonds within the Western Australian team.
