Q. When did you start working with the broker channel and why?
Our broker journey began in 2022. We launched with a pilot program for our personal loan product, which allowed us to test, learn, and refine before expanding more broadly with key aggregators and broker partners.
It was a deliberate and strategic move. We recognised very early the expertise brokers bring when supporting customers seeking personal lending solutions. Brokers act as trusted advisers. They understand customer context, responsible lending requirements, and the nuances that ultimately shape better outcomes.
The pilot phase delivered invaluable insights into how our product was positioned, how our credit appetite resonated with brokers, and where we could enhance the overall experience. From day one, we never viewed brokers as just another distribution channel. We saw them as long term partners whose success is tied to strong customer outcomes, and that remains the foundation of how we engage with the channel today.
