Q. How have you been tailoring your products this year?

Over the past year, we’ve seen significant growth in demand for larger SME funding solutions, particularly as businesses navigate rising costs, cash flow pressure, and growth opportunities in a more complex economic environment. At Bizcap, the segment of loans we’re funding between $250,000 and $500,000 has grown 125 per cent year on year, while lending in the $2–$5 million segment has increased by more than 250 per cent year on year.

That growth reflects a broader market shift. Many SMEs are looking for faster, more flexible funding solutions at a time when traditional lending frameworks can feel increasingly rigid. In a landscape heavily reliant on historical financials and inflexible policy settings, our focus has been on real-time business assessment, which includes understanding momentum, cash flow trends, and the broader commercial context behind each application.

For many SMEs, delays in funding can mean missed opportunities, disrupted cash flow, or unnecessary stress. Brokers need confidence their clients won’t be left waiting, particularly when timing is critical to securing stock, funding expansion, or managing operational demands.
