Brokerage announces four new referral relationships

Other new partners include financial planning businesses Coulson Financial Services and Partners in Planning Group.

Barry Plant Financial Services' general manager of home loans, Peta Siebert, said many clients can benefit from budgeting advice because it is not something that is taught at school.

"So it's no surprise then that everyone knows someone that has gone through hard times and doesn't know where to turn," Ms Siebert told The Adviser.

"Budgeting Works can help these customers get back on their feet and once they are in a good place financially, Barry Plant Financial Services can then assist them to achieve their goals."

Ms Siebert said the four new referral relationships would provide customers with an end-to-end service covering most of their needs when buying a property.

She said that would result in happier customers and more transactions, while also keeping clients within the broker's circle of influence on an ongoing basis.

"This results in a greater lifetime value of customer for our brokers, meaning they have more direct and indirect revenue opportunities per customer into the future," she said.

Barry Plant Financial Services has a team of 16 brokers and sales support.
