Asset finance continues to be a key growth area in Australia, with consumers and businesses increasingly turning to brokers to secure funding for vehicles, essential equipment, technology, and other business assets.

In the third and final instalment of The Adviser’s Elite Broker Ranking 2025 – run in partnership with Optimise Aggregation – we sought to understand which brokers are writing substantial volumes of asset finance loans.

Collectively, the top Elite Brokers – Asset Finance wrote $550 million in asset finance across 9,143 loans in the financial year 2025.

The volume of business written by the top brokers varied greatly, reflecting whether they were writing asset and equipment finance for businesses or for consumers.

At the top of the ranking this year was William Hong from Talk To A Broker, who settled a total of $68,314,019 in asset finance loans over FY25.

Hong also wrote a large volume of loans over the year – one of just two brokers who wrote more than 1,000 asset finance loans in the financial year. In total. Hong settled 1,509 asset finance loans.

However, the most prolific asset finance broker was Michelle Gorsevski, founder and director of lendlab, who wrote 1,704 loans in FY25, totalling $49.6 million.

Other brokers writing a high volume of loans included Hamer Asset Finance’s Will Hamer (685 loans) and Teoman Morgil from Pure Capital Finance (509 loans).

All brokers who made the Elite Broker – Asset Finance ranking settled more than $4.5 million in FY25, demonstrating both scale and impact across the sector.

Congratulations to all those who made the Elite Broker Ranking – Asset Finance 2025.

Methodology of the ranking

To ensure the integrity and credibility of the Elite Broker Ranking, a robust methodology was employed.

Undertaken by Agile Market Intelligence on behalf of The Adviser, brokers were invited to submit data regarding the number of asset finance loans settled, the value of these loans, and the average size of loans written for the financial year ending June 2025.

Each broker was required to provide evidence supporting their submissions, which were meticulously verified.

The final ranking was determined by ranking the brokers by the largest settlement volumes in dollar terms.
