Industry association to launch regional summit

by Reporter7 minute read

The Finance Brokers Association of Australia has announced it will host a half-day summit in Tasmania to further its commitment to resourcing the state.

The industry body said that the summit will allow finance brokers in Tasmania to share their experiences and challenges and discuss regulatory and marketplace changes.

The event will feature industry veteran Peter White, who will provide an update on his regular meetings with senior federal members of parliament and regulators.

Tasmanian FBAA state president Brendon Kurtz commented, “Engagement like this is vital for professional development and for brokers in this state to not only connect with other industry participants, but to obtain important information that will help them in practical ways.”

Mr Kurtz added that the event is also an opportunity for Tasmanian members to provide feedback to the association.

“I’d like to see all industry professionals be a part of this day – not only brokers but bankers and others,” he said.

The summit will be held at the Hotel Grand Chancellor in Launceston on November 3.
