Glenn Mitchell, head of Vow Commercial and Leasing, said the awards came at a pivotal time in the mortgage industry, with commercial lending rising 35 per cent year-on-year.

“As an industry, commercial lending is going gangbusters and we’ve been experiencing that growth across our entire network this year,” Mr Mitchell said.

“It’s great to be able to come together, take some time out and specifically talk about the opportunities we face in the commercial space.

“It’s an honour to be able to commend the hardworking commercial brokers who are leading the way and celebrate their accomplishments.”

Some 75 brokers and 35 lenders attended Vow’s Commercial Conference, which was held on Friday, 10 June at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort on the Gold Coast.
