Stargate has launched the industry’s first iPad fact find Tool for brokers.

The application, eFind, gives brokers the ability to electronically complete their Client Needs Analysis interview with a prospective borrower anywhere and at any time.

Brokers can now prepare pre-populated fact find documents for borrowers on the fly at the time of interview without having to take the paperwork back to the office to be completed.

Stargate Group chief executive officer Brett Spencer said eFind will create a fundamental shift in the way that mortgage professionals work.

“By empowering brokers to be at the cutting edge of technology with easy to use software, we can finally begin to embrace new ways of doing business,” he said.

“The release of eFind will enable brokers to eliminate the use of paper forms to capture a client’s information and can instead utilise their iPad to capture financial information, loan requirements and borrowing objectives.”

According to Mr Spencer, eFind should assist brokers in reducing the data collection process to meet NCCP compliance requirements. And with the provision of CRM integration tools, the eFind will eliminate all double entry of borrower information.

“Brokers can now provide a more meaningful point of sale service to prospective borrowers enabling the selection of a preferred home loan based on current live data. Borrowers can search for their most appropriate home loan from over 1000 loan products provided by more than 40 lenders,” he said.

Ian, We'll be launching the Android version in the next 2-3 weeks. It works well with the current Honeycomb operating system on Android, but will work even better on the new Ice Cream Sandwich version due out in the next few months.

Quoting Ian:
How far are you from launching Android version that works on Galaxy Tab?

Tks

Quoting Brett Spencer:
Hi Jill, The app is only available at www.e-find.com.au and is freely avaialable to all Brokers in the entire industry.

We chose not to put it through the App store so that we can have a central site to manage multiple versions of the one product which means you will shortly see an Android version of eFind being released. Once Windows 8 is available, you'll then see a Windows version available as well.

These will all be available for everyone at www.e-find.com.au

I cant find anything on the website on what the fact find does. Is there a trial or demo?

Hi Cara,

As we don't current have a demo or trial version, we've just updated the main website at www.e-find.com.au with a "eFind Screenshots" section so that people can see what sort of information is collected in the application.

I"d rather use a solution thats been around a while with a proven track record like Connective than an untested and unproven v1.0 product. My own view, particularly as its not on the App Store.

Hi Sonya, eFind does connect directly to Symmetry and will remove any double data entry issues.

In fact, we've build a complete API to allow any technology provider or aggregator software to accept the data from e-find and of course our API is completely FREE. Aggregators can go to www.e-find.com.au/.../ to get the free instructions.

This is very exciting. The new generation of customers means a new way of working for brokers. Which is why, starting next month and across the following 12 – 18 months, AFG will be rolling out a suite of technology tools, including a Flex-integrated version of Stargate’s eFind. This will help our brokers utilise new technology allowing them to do business anywhere anytime, leveraging the opportunities the shift to mobile work brings. Not only will they allow AFG brokers to do business with the new generation of customers, it will assist in increasing their productivity and also their compliance. These new tools will be rolled out to AFG brokers across the country, supported by by full training

It sounds great, but does e-find upload data to Symmetry to save double entry?

Peter, The great part about eFind is that its a mobile solution so while you say Connective have their internet based solution (as do most software platforms in the market), efind can go anywhere and at anytime. It can even link back into the connective system. I'd be happy to show you exactly how it works if you want a demo.

This is a good thing for brokers and clients. I have seen connectives software and it is very comprehensive and easy to use. Unfortunately my aggregator is still trying to launch theirs. Oh and by the way they want $150/month for it. May be time to leave??
