Genworth has appointed a new chief executive officer to lead the company into 2011.
Ellie Comerford joins Genworth from First American Financial Corporation, where she held the title of chief operating officer for the International Division.
Ms Comerford will assume her new role in mid-December.
First American Financial Corporation chairman and chief executive officer Michael Fraizer said Ms Comerford brings a wealth of experience to the new role.
“Her expertise will prove invaluable as we continue to build and strengthen our customer partnerships and position Genworth for future growth,” he said.
Genworth’s current acting chief executive officer, Paul Caputo, will take on the new role of chief risk officer and senior vice president capital markets.
