ING Direct has been named as a finalist in the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia’s (MFAA) Lender of the Year Award.

The second tier lender along with CBA and ANZ will now fight it out for the prestigious Lender of the Year award, which will be announced at the Excellence Awards Dinner on Friday 12 March 2010.

The lenders are ranked against a set of seven criteria by the MFAA’s accredited members, who are encouraged to vote online.

ANZ, CBA and ING Direct were ranked by brokers as the nation’s best performing banks in terms of their commitment to the broker channel, the quality of their products, loan approval process and services and support accessibility.
